One of the most highly anticipated new items in the new High Isle Chapter for the Elder Scrolls Online was the Oakensoul Ring, a powerful Mythic item which gives the wearer a large amount of buffs at the cost of disabling their second ability bar.
In order to obtain the Oakensoul Ring, you need access to both High Isle and Greymoor, and you need your Scrying and Excavation skill lines to be at least rank 7. Once you meet these conditions you can start scrying and digging for the five leads required to create the item. Four of the five leads are not really problematic, however the Petrified Oak Loop took players a while to discover, and now that we know where it is we can tell you that it's going to cause some problems for players who want to get the Oakensoul Ring.
If you're not sure how Scrying and Excavating leads works in ESO, then our Antiquities Guide may be able to help you!
