This Week's ESO Roundup - New Cosmetics, Login Rewards, Decon Assistant, XP Event

It’s been an eventful week for the Elder Scrolls Online, with a lot of new content coming to the game. This is a short recap of everything that’s happened this week.

With the announcement of the new Crown Crates, the Crown Store Showcase for April, and rewards for the Jester Festival now being available, players have a lot of new options for personalizing their characters and houses in Elder Scrolls Online.

In addition to the XP scrolls that we are getting as a sort of compensation for the server problems on PC NA, there are more interesting login rewards for players this April, including the White Lion mount and Jester Anglidor, as well as a total haul of 30,000 gold which should give a nice boost to newer players who don’t have much gold.

The combination of the Jester Festival with the five Grand Gold Coast Experience Scrolls available from the first day of April’s login rewards (you can get them right now if you haven’t already) means that players have a chance to level up much faster than would usually be possible, even during events.

Make sure you have The Pie of Misrule active during the event to maximize your experience gain. You can obtain this by doing the introductory Jester Festival quest.

The Ascending Tide DLC and update went live on PlayStation and Xbox on Tuesday. Some console players were surely worried that the launch would go badly as it did on PC NA, but it seems that there are no major issues as the ESO Forums have been fairly quiet.

PC and Mac players got the first incremental patch following on from Ascending Tide on Monday, which addressed a few minor problems, including a problem with dungeons and trials not getting marked as completed on the map, and some bugs with the Night's Silence and Turning Tide sets, as well as the Mend Wounds skill.
