The New Dungeon Monster Sets Coming to ESO with Ascending Tide

Ascending Tide is the latest DLC and update for ESO (Elder Scrolls Online) and it’s just days away now.

Today we will have a look at the two new monster sets that you will be able to get from the new dungeons, Shipwright's Regret and Coral Aerie.

Kargaeda is the first new dungeon monster set coming to ESO with Ascending Tide.

Its first effect is to passively grant the wearer some extra magicka and stamina, pretty normal for a one-piece monster set bonus. When wearing both pieces, you can proc the set by dealing damage with a heavy attack, which will send out whirlwind AOEs that damage enemies and buff your friends by reducing the cost of their abilities. Kargaeda is an interesting group-based utility set that also gives the user a little extra damage output.

You can obtain the head piece of Kargaeda by completing the Coral Aerie dungeon, and the shoulder piece by opening boxes from the Pledge Masters at any Undaunted Enclave.

Nazaray is a very support oriented set, and in my opinion the more interesting of the two.

Wearing one piece will grant you some extra max health, meaning that the set should fit perfectly in a tank build. Wearing both pieces will cause you to extend all major and minor debuffs on nearby enemies by one second for every twenty points of ultimate that you spend - so a tank running this set and using Aggressive Horn as soon as he or she has it available would extend the debuff duration on enemies by 12 seconds - double that number if you waited until your ultimate pool hit the cap of 500.

If you are tanking in an organised group that does not have enough Necromancers in it to achieve a high major vulnerability uptime, then you could wear this set and time your ultimate with their Frozen Colossus to extend the duration of the major vulnerability debuff on the boss, and really get the most out of the debuff.
