Zenimax Online Studios announced more bans due to a new exploit that some players abuse in the Tales of Tribute card game in ESO within the new High Isle Chapter. You can find the thread here.
Some players are abusing a bug that lets you automatically win a fight against anyone, because the opponent only has the option to forfeit the game, thus losing. This can be especially unfair in ranked matches, it looks like some ranked players have been abusing the bug on the leaderboards.
ZOS is working on a hotfix for the issue, which should be implemented on Monday. They also stated that they have already banned several game accounts that were found to have abused the bug repeatedly. Players that have unintentionally encountered the bug won't be at risk.
The Tales of Tribute card game has launched with the new High Isle Chapter. Please visit the Tales of Tribute Overview Page for more information on all the Deck Patrons and Upgrade Card locations.
We just recently had two ban waves, one time regarding controversial lore character names and one time because of using a third party cheat program which resulted in over 400 permanent account bans third party cheat program.
