How Wood Elves Are Currently Glitched in Elder Scrolls Online
ESO (Elder Scrolls Online) players have had a couple of days to play the new Ascending Tide DLC and update now, and some of those who are playing as a Bosmer are noticing some strange new problems with their character.

What’s Wrong with the Wood Elves in ESO?

Normally famed for their steady hand and resultant excellent archery skills, it seems that the Wood Elves of Elder Scrolls Online are now troubled by what could be described as “jankiness” with their animations.

A player initially reported that they had noticed a couple of problems with their Wood Elf in a thread on the ESO Forums. They described an issue with their character’s limbs being too spread out when walking or running, and that their character would do a strange swaying movement when starting to move and when coming to a halt.

Another player shed more light on the problem, adding that female Wood Elf characters seem to now be using male animations, explaining some of the problem. It also seems that the “swaying” is caused by an animation frame from a personality (it looks like the Assassin personality to me) which has been accidentally incorporated into the run and walk animations when you start or stop moving.

A third user also added to the discussion, saying that they had noticed a few minor animation bugs with other races, such as Khajiit and Altmer, that have appeared since the update, including some occasionally lop-sided facial animations.

Zenimax Community Manager Gina Bruno commented on the thread, informing players that the bug had been logged and that the developers would try to fix the problem in a future incremental patch.
