If you want to try out the benefits of an ESO Plus but aren't sure if its worth paying for, then now is the perfect chance to see for yourself.
Starting from today in the Elder Scrolls Online, players can claim a free trial of ESO Plus that will last until January 31st.
This will afford you access to all DLC areas that are usually included with ESO Plus, which basically means everything except High Isle. You'll also get access to most of the perks that come with ESO Plus for the duration of the free trial, such as increased XP, doubled bank space, the Craft Bag for storing crafting materials, and costume dyeing.
However you will not get access to the companions in the Blackwood chapter, and you will not get any free Crowns either (each month of ESO Plus usually comes with 1,500 Crowns).
How to Activate your ESO Plus Free Trial
To get ESO Plus for free, you first need to open the Crown Store in-game. Then navigate to the ESO Plus tab. You then simply need to choose the Free Trial option in the menu.
Note that if you already have an active ESO Plus subscription, you will not get access to the free trial (something which has been a little bit controversial among some players in the past and probably will be this time too).
