What's Coming to ESO in the Firesong DLC and Update?

Zenimax have now revealed some important details about the Firesong DLC and update, along with the release date for both PC and Console. In this article we will share the most notable new features that will be coming to ESO.

Firesong will release on November 1st on PC/Mac, and November 15th on consoles.

What's New in ESO Firesong?

Firesong will include a new zone, called Galen and Y'ffelon, and a new storyline, focusing on the culture and history of Tamriel's druids and their relationship with the Bretons. There will be a return for some much-loved characters from the base game and previous DLC, such as Razum-Dar and Quen.

There will be a new Tales of Tribute deck, the Druid King deck, which will focus on rewarding you for playing cards in a particular order. To access this, you will need both High Isle and Firesong

As for base game content, there will firstly be some new quality of life improvements for housing. There will also finally be an option to hide other player's pets, so you are no longer constantly blinded by winged twilights or blocked from interacting with objects by a Warden bear.

ESO FiresongA new form of collectible is also coming to the game - customized actions. Essentially these will replace an in-game animation, such as harvesting a resource or teleporting to a wayshrine or friend, with a different version of the animation, often with various special effects added. We don't know yet how these will be obtained, but it seems probable that at least some of them will be from the Crown Store.

Finally, there will be a new form of group-wide enemy tagging, where you can assign an icon to an enemy that the whole group can see, to aid with coordination, and text to speech integration for in-game chat.

We will know all of the details on Monday, when the PTS Patch notes will be released on the ESO Forums.
