By Andrew | 7 Jun 2022 |Now that ESO's High Isle Chapter has finally been released, players who have purchased it will be able to befriend two new potential Companions in the game, namely Isobel Veloise and Ember. Today we will have a look at these Companions, where you can obtain them and the most important things to know about them.
Ember, Khajiit Companion in ESO
Ember is a Khajiit sorcerer companion who has a rather chaotic and mischievous personality, and is looking for a friend who can put up with or perhaps even partake in these antics. Ember's abilities closely resemble that of the Sorcerer class, with a lot of AOE damage abilities and some ability to do healing and shielding. To unlock Ember as a Companion in ESO, you will need to complete a quest called Tower Full of Trouble, located at Tor Draioch in High Isle. You will encounter a man on the road being annoyed by green orbs of light, talking to him will start the quest.
Ember will be impressed with you when you complete Mages Guild Dailies, Thieves Guild Heists, and performing mischief such as trespassing, pickpocketing guards or fencing rare items. She also has a dislike of wolves and werewolves and will be pleased when you defeat these enemy types. On the other hand she will be upset with you if you murder innocent NPCs, get caught trespassing, or pay a bounty to a guard after being caught. She also does not like fishing. These actions will increase or decrease your rapport with Ember when you perform them.

Isobel Veloise, Breton Companion in ESO

Isobel's skills resemble that of the Templar class, giving her good AOE damage, damage over time and strong healing abilities. To unlock Isobel, you will need to head to Castle Navire in South-Western High Isle. Isobel can be found outside the Tourney Grounds, and she has a quest for you known as Tournament of the Heart. Completing this quest will unlock Isobel as a Companion.
Isobel frowns on any dishonorable acts including murder, theft or associating with the Dark Brotherhood, but she will be impressed by chivalric and honorable deeds such as defeating daedra, defeating world bosses. clearing Volcanic Vents or completing Daily Delve quests in High Isle. She also approves of crafting blacksmithing items or sweet foods, and seems to be impressed if the player associates with famous characters, such as the Alliance Leaders of Lyris Titanborn. All of these actions will impact your rapport with Isobel if you perform them while she is summoned.
