The Elder Scrolls Online occasionally has free to play events, where anyone can create an account, download the game and play completely free of charge!
There's also some other stuff happening during this event, so here is a quick overview of what we can expect to see over the rest of April.
Free to Play event in ESO
ESO (Elder Scrolls Online) is now free to play, and will remain free until April 26th. If you've been thinking of trying the game out but never got around to it, then this is a great time to give it a try. This applies to all platforms - PC/Mac, Xbox, PlayStation and Stadia.To get started, simply visit the ESO Free Play page and select your desired platform.
The Morrowind expansion is now free to play for everyone too, so you will immediately benefit from this if you join the game via the free to play event.
ESO and Crown Store sale
For the duration of the free to play event,The Elder Scrolls Online: Standard Editionand the Blackwood expansion will also be on sale, with discounts of up to 70% off.If you have been waiting for a Crown Store sale, then this is also something that's happening right now! Crown packs currently have discounts ranging from 20% off to 40% off, depending on which pack you buy (the larger ones have a bigger discount).
