The developers of ESO recently announced that they will add language support for Simplified Chinese later this year. Featuring full text, subtitles and UI translations!

Matt Firor said the following in the video:

"We are constantly growing and expanding along with you, our community. And this year highlights that growth. We are delighted to announce that The Elder Scrolls Online will be coming out later this year in Simplified Chinese, featuring full text, subtitles, and UI translations. The Simplified Chinese version will offer you a more immersive gaming experience and we can't wait to share it with you! Please follow us on our official weibo page at Bethesda Asia for more information."

We also asked whether Simplified Chinese will be available in the same client or whether it will be like the Japanese version, where it is located in a separate client.

ZOS actually replied to the tweet and said it will be available through the same client as the other versions (EN/DE/FR/ES/RU). this might enable ESO-Hub to also feature an official Simplified Chinese version. We will have to test this out once it becomes available!

Some users also speculated that we could get a new Asia server for ESO next to the NA and EU locations. While unlikely, this would be a welcoming move to expand the whole ESO community further and showcase that ZOS isn't done with ESO anytime soon.

ZOS just recently added Spanish language support to ESO with the launch of the High Isle Chapter. ESO-Hub.com is also available in Spanish already: https://eso-hub.com/es

All available languages on ESO-Hub so far:

We hope you enjoyed the article about the Simplified Chinese language support coming to ESO. The Elder Scrolls Online is a massively multiplayer online game (MMO) developed by Zenimax Online Studios.
