Rotation

Back Bar (~2-3s - for short fights can just stay on front bar):

• Optional (if you or companion is low on health):
  • HA for health + damage shield + resources + Major Mending
  • Healing Contingency (22s cooldown) - use on yourself and companion when needed
  • Ward Ally (6s cooldown) - use on yourself and companion when needed
• Ice Comet (Ultimate) - use if available
• Arctic Blast DoT (20s cooldown)
• Expansive Frost Cloak (20s cooldown)
• LA weave + Skeletal Arcanist (20s cooldown)
• Switch to Front Bar

Front Bar (~20s):

• Chilling Explosion (20s cooldown)
• Winter's Revenge DoT (12s cooldown)
• LA weave + Unnerving Boneyard DoT (10s cooldown) - consumes corpse of skeletal arcanist for extra damage
• Spam Crushing Shock until Winter's Revenge DoT ends
• Winter's Revenge DoT (12s cooldown)
• LA weave + Unnerving Boneyard DoT (10s cooldown)
• Spam Crushing Chock a few times
• Temporal Guard (Ultimate) - use if in a tight situation
• Switch to Back Bar

Notes:

• Always LA weave when casting Necro abilities to generate ultimate since they're spaced out every ~10s
• Only need to LA weave with other skills when you need to heal
• Heavy Attacks can be used to gain damage shield + regenerate magicka instead of spamming Crushing Shock (but HAs won't do any damage)
• Don't recast Skeletal Arcanist until it dies/ends to reduce cost and create a corpse for Unnerving Boneyard to consume
• Useful to have Zenith-Var companion with Perigean Armor slotted to provide some more corpses for Unnerving Boneyard
