The Difficult ones:
Slimecraw (hat lightarmor and shoulder medium armor):

The Maelstrom's:
- Lightning Staff: The Maelstrom's Lightning Staff drop in Maelstrom Arena. Maelstrom Arena is a solo PvE instance, meaning it cannot be entered as part of a group. It is located in Wrothgar and requires the Orsinium DLC.
In this arena, your character must fight through 9 waves of enemies, each featuring unique mechanics. Maelstrom weapons can only be obtained in Veteran mode, found within the chest that appears after the final boss.
The hardest!:
- Oakensoul: 1. Requirements (Before You Start)
- Greymoor DLC: You must unlock Scrying & Excavation at the Antiquarian Circle (in Solitude / Western Skyrim) and level both skills to at least Level 7.
- High Isle DLC: You must own or have access to the High Isle zone.
2. The 5 Pieces & Where to Find Them
Travel to these zones and repeat the activities until the lead randomly drops:
- Piece 1: Igneous Inlays
- Where: High Isle or Galen.
- What: Complete Volcanic Vents (the red world events on the map) with other players.
- Piece 2: Larimar Gems
- Where: Stormhaven.
- What: Kill the Titanclaw World Boss (the giant crab on the beach in the southwest).
- Piece 3: Stone-Shank Frame
- Where: Glenumbra.
- What: Mine Blacksmithing nodes (ore veins) around the zone.
- Piece 4: Sacred Resin
- Where: Malabal Tor.
- What: Kill any random monsters (mobs) in the open world or in delves.
- Piece 5: Petrified Oak Loop
- Where: Murkmire.
- What: Lockpick Safeboxes inside buildings/shops or find Thieves Troves. (Note: This one usually takes the longest, so stay patient!)
3. How to Put It Together
- Once a lead drops, open your Journal -> Antiquity Codex -> High Isle -> Oakensoul Ring.
- Scry the lead by completing the puzzle game.
- Travel to the marked dig site on your map and excavate the fragment.
- When you dig up all 5 pieces, the ring automatically assembles itself in your inventory!
--- Rotation ---
The rotation for your one-bar heavy-attack Sorcerer is extremely relaxed and fluid to play, as you essentially have only one primary attack while keeping your DoTs (damage-over-time effects) active.
The Sequence (Rotation):
Start of Combat / Preshot (optional):
Summon your Greater Storm Atronach (Ultimate), if it is ready.
Step 1 – Lay down your blockade:
Cast Elemental Blockade on the boss first. (Important: This must always be done first so that the Maelstrom or Julianos staff effect takes effect immediately!)
Step 2 – Deploy pets & debuffs:
Cast Daedric Prey on the boss.
Activate your Volatile Familiar (press the skill key briefly when it glows to trigger its explosion).
Use the Twilight Matriarch if you need healing.
Step 3 – Main damage (Heavy Attack):
Hold down your Heavy Attack with your lightning staff until it has fully channeled. Do not release it too early—the final tick is what delivers that massive, heavy-hitting damage!
Step 4 – Weave in Crystal Fragments:
Keep an eye on the right side of your screen while performing heavy attacks: when Crystal Fragments lights up—indicating it has become "free" (zero-cost) and faster to cast—briefly interrupt your heavy attack, cast Crystal Fragments for a powerful burst of instant damage, and then immediately resume your heavy attack.
The Golden Rule in Combat:
Elemental Blockade expires after 6 seconds.
Daedric Prey expires after 12 seconds.
As soon as these two skills run out, refresh them—otherwise, do just one thing: keep firing heavy lightning attacks!
