Guide

Erläuterung bauen
Dieser Leitfaden ist in Englisch geschrieben.

Flex Skills:

  • Ghostly Embrace can be replaced with Blade Cloak (I use this skill cause I think it looks cool).
  • Detonating Siphon can be morphed into Mystic Siphon if you want more recovery.
  • Skeletal Archer can be morphed to Skeletal Arcanist if you want more of an aoe pet.
  • Unnerving Boneyard can be morphed to Avid Boneyard if you or your group doesn't need an aoe Major Breach.
  • Necrotic Potency can be replace with any skill you need or want to use.
  • Glacial Colossus can be replace if there is another necromancer in group using it or if tank is running a major vulnerability set like Turning Tide and/or Archdruid Devyric. Ice Comet is a good replacement for bosses and Elemental Rage is good for trash pulls.

Rotation:

First rule for necromancer is to make sure blastbones is always active. It is our hardest hitting ability making it the bread and butter of the necromancer. It's has a 2.5 sec arming period and if your close to your targets a .5 second exploding period. So you should be able to cast 2 skills before recasting blastbones if your fast enough. Also try to make sure you are on your front bar when blastbones pops so get max damage with it. Not a big deal if it goes off on your back bar.

BB = blast bones

Skeleton Archer > Scaling Rune > BB > Wall of Elements > BB >  Boneyard > Siphon > Skull ( single target spammable) or Ghostly Embrace (AoE spammable)

*When a skill drops recast it

 *use ults whenever you can

When you have time between blastbones and your DoTs you can use your spammable.

Elemental Catalyst:

This set is a match made in heaven for necromancers since they are the only class that naturally has all 3 elementals in our toolkit. Rotation is about the same but with catalyst you want to make sure you have all three elements on the target at all times. So you'll want to make sure your not on your backbar for no more then 3 secs. Spend as much time on your front bar as possible.

You can also make a ranged version of this build just by switching daggers to a Ice staff. Yes the ice staff light attacks counts towards catalyst.

*Only one person should run Elemental Catalyst per group!

Solo Build:

This is pretty easy to do. Most of your time is just heavy attacking and the other is using your skills when need be.

Hungry Scythe: Best use of this skill is as a DoT heal. Another use of this skill is if there are a lot of adds you can use it as a damage/heal aoe skill.

Grave Lord's Sacrifice: I use this skill mostly for the free corpse for Mortal Coil and Graveyard. It also helps with your HA and necro damage also. If you want you could use Blighted Blastbones if you want it for pure damage but again you'll mostly be HA for most of the fight.

Warding Soul: Reason I use this over Dampen Magic is cause we use med armor and for the damage shield, self heal, and major vitality. If running light armor then use Dampen Magic.

Mortal Coil: Very good self heal only bad thing about it is you need a corpse.
Unnerving Graveyard: Do I even need to tell you why we are using this? Keep up at all times when fighting your main target.
Glacial Colossus: Major Vulnerability
