Solo/Group MagNecro DPS - Nekromant Baue PvE - ESO

This is a great mid-game MagNecro build i came up with that is good for group content, as well as solo content. Its very focused on straight buffing/DPS and survivability. More in guide section

Guide

Erläuterung bauen
Dieser Leitfaden ist in Englisch geschrieben.

You should be able to handle solo Single target dps and also large group ad clearing no problem. Ill explain how you rotate skills below.

Behind the scenes abilities-

  1. Spirit Guardian: Using this is going to heal you while eating some of the damage you take. This is equipped on both bars so that it always stays active and doesn't de-summon. This also creates a “Corpse” and overall just helps with survivability.
  2. Channeled Excelleration: This is going to give you a fat speed boost for 12 seconds, but more importantly will give you 10% more crit damage for A WHOLE MINUTE… that's huge. Pretty much make sure you pop this ability as soon as it ends. (This is a little bit more of an “later game” buff, you can put Mystic Siphon in place of Channeled Excelleration for now)
  3. Inner Light: This is just going to give you a generous amount of Magika passively and gives you a huge boost on spell critical… just by having it slotted. You DO NOT need to use this skill. Like already mentioned, you get these buffs while just having the skill on your bar.

Not a background ability, but a support ability-

Bone Totem: This thing is amazing.

Things it can do: Buff you and allies within it to take less damage while active. Makes enemies within take increased damage. Fears enemies making them unable to attack and giving them a status effect for 4 seconds. Allies can use it as well to deal nice damage to all enemies within its range.

Enough said I think :)

DAMAGE ABILITIES-

  1. Unstable wall of Elements: this is a HUGE aoe spammable that has low cost (In comparison to some other abilities)  but we wont be using it only for its damage.           It will change its damage type depending on which type of staff is equipped. Since you will use a fire staff on this slot, it will proc all of your bonus to your Burning Spell weave set, which is crucial here.
  2. Force Pulse: Another option to proc burning spellweave, but also great single target damage. The only reason we are using this over our skull throw ability is because of the fire damage proc. This IS a spammable.
  3. Elemental Storm: Will turn to Fiery Storm when using a fire staff, does HUGE Aoe damage and doesnt require you to continue attacking with it, while also procing your burning spellweave, and going hand in hand with your Ilambris gear.         (You can use shooting star in this slot instead when you unlock it, it will be better DPS)
  4. Hungry Scythe: Deal decent Mag damage, but hits hard when critting. This is really just a survivability skill, with built it AOE damage for frontal attacking enemies. This…..heals……good….
  5. Graveyard: This is crazy.. frost damage, team interactable, status effect, AOE, placeable with no upkeep, weakens enemies, heals you for damage done, does more damage when able to consume a corpse…. list goes on.
  6. Bone Goliath: This ult basically makes you totally invincible, while dealing big AOE damage 360 degrees around you. Pop when solo and need to survive, or just when you are in a crowd of enemies. This makes content like skyreach, spellscar, and nBRP way easier.

END GAME CHANE NOTES

We are now using Zaan's instead of Ilambris, this is for increased single target DPS, but also supports in some AOE dps, just not the same as Ilambris. Zaan's is the only Monster set in the game that CANNOT crit, but the damage is enough to be worth it. As well as the burning status effect that is proc'd.

Whorl of depths instead of Burning spell weave. Pretty much, we wont be using Ilambirs anymore and with that we dont have as constant fire damage, so we are swapping to Whorl here. Whorl will do great damage, but if you aren't comfortable with how it preforms you can change it our for Sirorias, which i also really like, or Bahseis-mania which is just extra DPS all around.

Whorl will help with increased single target but when the single target ends, you will receive a little touch of AOE damage, which makes it nice for group stuff like spellscar, skyreach, or just general ad-clear.

Destructive impact staff on the backbar is great, you will swap to your backbar, cast destructive clench, and then gain a ton of weapon damage for your front bar, this is something you can constantly swap to and continuously buff.

SKILLS

We swapped our bone totem for Elemental drain, because now that are damage is much higher then before, and with Whorl of depths dealing great aoe after its duration, the fearing of bone totem seems less important. Elemental drain is something you will pop on bosses and will help you get those dps numbers up big time.

Shooting star on the back bar for an ultimate, as we do not need elemental storm to proc CONSTANT fire damage without our Burning Spellweave equipped.

Destructive clench instead of wall of elements, because Whorl and Zaans should do the job.
