Guide

Bauen Erläuterung
Dieser Leitfaden ist in Englisch geschrieben.

Disclaimer: This is a solo play build first and foremost, it doubles as a tank for some hard content, but is not a one build fits all.

Arcosian Knight

The general idea here is a tank build that can do vet content and some easier trials, but is still completely playable in overland content and solo play. To achieve this, certain skills are chosen to increase damage, instead of a main tank skill. For instance Corrosive Armour, Magma Fist, and Incinerate, each of these skills in a main tank build would use the alternate morph or a different skill entirely.

Rotation

Standard trash clear is to Reverberating Bash to proc Void Bash, Burning Talons to immobilise, then reposition to use Disintegrating Dragonfire. If they still aren't dead, bar swap and spam Magma Fist.

The main rotation is basically the same as the trash clear, except we care about keeping our uptimes for Incinerate, Shatterspike Mantle, Molten Armaments. Weaving Magma Fist casts to maintain stacks will require some practice, though the benefit is rather small, so don't worry too much.

Alternatives

For skills and morphs, some that I was considering were: Cauterise for group heals, Magma Shell for better group shielding, Molten Whip over Magma Fist, and so on. The back bar is free to be customised however you want really.

You want more heals? Easy, Cauterise and some Restoration staff skills. Also consider swapping Turning Tide for a healing oriented set, or a monster set and mythic.

More damage? Swap out for some Ardent Flame skills like Molten Whip, Searing Claw, and some 2H or Dual Wield skills, and done. Consider swapping Turning Tide for a medium armour set like Pillar of Nirn, and some of the magicka skills for stamina ones, like Silver Leash instead of Chains of Dominance.

Going main tank? Swap Corrosive Armour for Magma Shell, remove Incinerate and Molten Armaments, swap in a Frost Staff, and use Elemental Susceptibility and Elemental Blockade or whatever tickles your fancy.

If you don't have access to Void Bash, that's fine, just swap the gear around and use whatever monster set you want. Slimecraw, Tremorscale, Bloodspawn, all fine options. Or even run a mythic and a monster helm. If you have access to trial gear, feel free to use that instead.

Final Thoughts

Don't like the build or think its sub-optimal, you are right and I don't care, deal with it. This build is for me to be able to play as much content in the game as possible without constantly build swapping. If I can swap out my backbar weapon and a few skills without doing a full respec, then I am happy with that.

Its worth noting, that I have designed this with the U51 Class Mastery passives in mind. In particular I intend to run Unstoppable Force and Recursive Flame, they will increase the overall strength of this build.
