• Setup 1 uses Order's Wrath (body, 2 pieces medium) and Coldharbour's favorite (back bar) + light base game monster set (can be replaced). 
   
• for some Raids Zaan will outperform Nerineth etc., but not by far: https://www.reddit.com/r/elderscrollsonline/comments/ukdhl7/comparing_monster_sets_dps_details_in_comment/ 
  • Kjalnar and Zaan are single-target damage sets, but in vCR portals both suck. You want a reliable / highly likely AoE in order to bring down the crystals in a controlled fashion. No burst damage effect, that only triggers once.
    • for vCR portals consider Iceheart
  • for vHOF portals consider Maw (generally a good one)
  • for vDSR I go for single target monster sets, or Slime + Kilt
• Soul Trap is useful for portals, the same goes for Razor Caltrops (Major Breach)
• in portals and PUGs you may benefit from the healing morph of the pet :) 
   
• Setup 2 is good for portals as well, features Bahsei at the front and Tzog jewelry + 2 body pieces (maintain crit stack)
• Setup 3 uses False God's instead of Bahsei to speed things up (only useful for some portals)
   
• the difference between perfected and non-perfected gear is minimal, and would only be relevant to push scores imho
