This is my go-to beam build for trash mobs in 4-player dungeons.
This build utilizes the Cavalier's Charge signature script by stacking speed boosts to gain extra weapon/spell damage. It also uses the Courage affix for even more damage in case it's not provided by the group. If Minor Courage is provided, you can swap the affix to Minor Heroism.
Cavalier's Charge: Gain 6 Weapon & Spell Damage for every 1% of bonus Movement Speed you have, up to a massive 450 damage.
Concealed Weapon ability: Grants Minor Expedition +15% speed bonus (+90 damage)
Celerity CP Slottable: +10% speed bonus (+60 damage)
Channeled Acceleration: Grants Major Expedition for 12 seconds +30% speed bonus (+180 damage)
Rotation: Pre-buff with FoO, Scholarship and Channeled Accel. You will have 12 seconds of extra weap/spell damage, which is plenty of time to clear trash mobs in an optimized group. Lay down your Wall, flail once then beam to victory (you don't need to flail twice for trash, you want to get to your beam as fast as possible. Just make sure you pre-buff with inspired. 2 crux is plenty to get big damage numbers in trash since it all dies so fast).
If you're timing is right and your tank does a good job stacking, you could replace FoO with Proximity Detonation for more AOE burst damage.
