Spam Jabs until 30% of the big adds HP, then you can Whirling. Don't hesitate to leave early and beam the last target, one second earlier than others on the next pack means top damage on that pack.
I tested both AY and Tideborn on PTS, and AY was higher on average, even with 1x Heavy piece, but both are good.
You should make sure to have an Acuity setup with Destro ult for whenever you plan on ulting. I made it with Kazpian here, but if you don't trust your Alkosh buddy's uptime (or you don't have it), use Balorgh and 4x pieces Lokkestiiz.
