Make sure you have scholarship on before any beam and always preload your next flail (so you will end cycle with 2 cruxes → reapply what you need, flail for the 3rd and beam, then pre-load flail again.
If Coral Riptide minigame is something you dislike, Ansuuls can be a good option. When not in Coral Riptide, swap Deadly Cloak to other morph (less recasting to better resource sustain). When running 3 DPSs and Tank, I normally swap Slimecraw for Valkyn light and go War Machine as trial set to buff others
Azureblight only in trials or IA imo (you will kill stuff so fast in dungeons that Azureblight will not proc before it) → then pair it with Ansuuls/Coral (gotta keep that minor slayer on)
While farming for gear, I went with Innate Axion + Order's Wrath (both crafted)
If Cruxweave wouldnt be of use (and there is no dmg you would take), swap for Camo hunter for passives on backbar
IA Setup: Blue CPS → Get Ironclad + Unassailable (or Occult overload in non-Thoat' Bosses) paired with Thaumaturge + Bitting Aura
Pretty easy playstyle for 1 bar: Runo of Displacement to group → Flail to Ink Debuff and Immobilize → Caltrops for Major Breach → Flail → Flail → Beam. Quick Cloak is good for Major Evasion + Major Expedition + DoT (for Azureblight), but sometimes Flare is more useful as defense passive (Major protection). Red CPS → Fortified + Rejuvenation + Bastion + Shieldmaster
