J'dari The Forgotten Mane, Starcaller of the Ja-Kha'jay
Born Under Two Shadows
In the year a Mane was born, another of his kind also entered the world under the same alignment of Jone and Jode. That being was J'dari.
The priests whispered.
The signs were there.
But the Moons chose another.
One Mane was acknowledged.
The other was forgotten.
And so, J’dari became a Forgotten Mane. Not cast out, not cursed, but simply silent.
He offers no suggestions.
Only understanding.
The Ja-Kha’jay flows as it must.
The Merchant Who Met Two Faces
Instead of temples and politics, J’dari chose the roads of Tamriel.
He traveled with a Khajiiti caravan:
• The sands of Anequina
• The shadows of Valenwood
• The markets of Grahtwood
• The borderlands of Reaper’s March
He became a merchant.
But beneath his robes, he carried a secret.
He did not want his kin to know that he had been born at the same time as the Mane.
No rivalry.
No division.
Only one Khajiit knew the truth:
Zerith-var
A friend he had once saved in Reaper’s March.
Zerith-var kept his secret, just as J’dari kept the stars hidden.
Master of Moon, Sun, and Stars
J'dari is no ordinary sorcerer.
He does not bend Daedra to his will.
He despises the interference of entities such as:
Mannimarco
His magic draws from Aetherius—
from stardust, solar energy, and the silent power that exists between Jone and Jode. To him, lightning is not a storm.
It is a cosmic discharge.
Crystal Fragments are solidified stars.
Binding is the act of temporarily halting the pattern of time.
He reads the flow of fate the way others read a map.
The Abduction
During his travels, J’dari was captured by Mannimarco.
In Coldharbour, his soul was lost.
It was not only his body that was tested—but his belief in balance.
When he escaped and washed ashore on:
Khenarthi's Roost
he took it as a sign.
Not to seek power.
Not to become a ruler.
But to protect.
The Shadow of the Mane
The current Mane… is his friend.
And J’dari knows:
Should a danger ever arise for the Mane,
it will not be an overt one.
And so, he chooses the shadows.
He joins the:
Aldmeri Dominion
Not out of political ambition.
But because the Dominion—imperfect as it may be—
offers the best chance to protect the Khajiit and their Mane from external threats.
He does not involve himself in power struggles.
He seeks no position.
He facilitates nothing in the open.
But when fate shifts…
he is there.
Unseen.
Who J’dari Truly Is
• Ancient.
• Calm.
• Diplomatic.
• Not naive.
• Believes in balance over heroism.
He could have been the Mane.
But he chose something else.
He chose to be the one who keeps watch
when no one else is looking.
