The Asanbosam, also known as Sasabonsam, is a vampiric creature from the folklore of the Akan people in West Africa, particularly Ghana, Togo, and Ivory Coast.
Disclaimer: This is primarily a role play build and is not designed for maximum damage stats. For more damage use the Assassination skill line instead of Shadow and Daggers on the front bar.
Concept: This build focuses on explosive AOE bleed damage using Macabre Vintage and Sustain from Vicious Ophidian! I wanted to use Blood Drinker but the sustain was poor due to the Vampire cost increase. The only Vampire skill required for the build is the Ultimate, either morph will do, but I prefer Swarming Scion for the AOE Damage. I also started off using Exhilarating Drain to help build Ultimate but its not needed if you are using Necrotic Potency, I am now using Blood Mist in that Slot.
Trials: I have not run this in a Vet trial yet. Before doing that I would change the Shadow skill line with Assassination skill line. That will give the extra crit that is needed for more DPS. I would also use Ophidian (Vicious Serpent) Daggers on the Front Bar.
Subclassing: The base class is Warden. We keep Animal Companions for the Bleed skills and Off Balance. We add Shadow for resistance buff, crit buff, and recovery. We add Bone Tyrant for more Off balance, Ultimate generation, and another Hemorrhage status effect. The Vampire skill Exhilarating Drain can also add more Ultimate. But that’s a flex spot.
Backbar: I used Infused/Crushing here so that the entire group can have more penetration on effected enemies. For Solo play or groups where no additional pen is needed, use infused/Weapon Damage. In harder content use infused/Hardend for a damage shield. There are also 3 DOT Bleeds, ultimate gen, and healing. Use these and bounce back to the front bar. For more DPS or you simply want a resistance Debuff while Soloing, you can replace Necrotic Potency with Deep Fissure, but that will effect sustain and ulti-gen negatively.
