Guide

Explication de la construction
Ce guide est écrit en Anglais.

This is more of a fun niche build but it can be a very useful one. You can do a high amount of healing to your group while also making them super fast. Note that this build is only suited for Cyrodiil, not Battlegrounds.

I came up with this build on the fly when the dedicated speeder in our group could no longer play, and I wanted to provide speed without completely sacrificing my healing prowess. I found the build fun, comfortable and effective to play, so I thought I'd share it here.

This build is supposed to be completely self-sufficient, in the sense that you don't need to depend on other people in the group wearing sustain sets to allow you to play it. The only thing the build lacks in this regard is a source of Major Resolve, since nearly every group has a few Wardens providing it. If you still need it, slot Hurricane instead of Inner Light and you're good to go. Other than that, you can play this in a smallscale, a ballgroup, as well as a zerg. It is also easy to tweak in case you need more defenses or sustain. Adjust armor weights and weapon types as you see fit.

Watch the short gameplay clip at the bottom to get a demonstration of how this build plays in action.

Build advantages:

  • High amount of healing per second, easily on par with most full healing builds.
  • Lots of utility (speed, healing, hard CC, Negate, Major Courage, Ozezan).
  • Good sustain with room for more.
  • Gotta go fast.

Disadvantages:

  • Intensive skill rotation (so high APM needed to play optimally).
  • No synergies provided.
  • Uses a selfish set (Wretched Vitality), so not suited for minmaxed groups.

Gear:

Ozezan the Inferno is our monster set as, with its unique armor buff, it is simply the best such set for supports at the moment.

Spell Power Cure allows us to give Major Courage to the entire group no matter its size. It's only active on the backbar, so frequent barswaps are needed.

Wretched Vitality is a selfish set that carries our sustain for this hybrid build.

Snow Treaders makes us immune to soft CC/snares. Since we are in 3x Swift and provide constant access to Minor/Major Expedition, we are still faster than 95% of the players in Cyrodiil without sprinting.

Trainee gives us some extra health.

Skills:

Frontbar - Streak is both a mobility tool and something we can use to stun the enemy. Power Surge is a passive HoT that gives us Major Sorcery and heals the group while active. Quick Cloak gives us Major Evasion (you can replace this with Elude if you have 5 medium). Rapid Maneuver is one of the main skills on this build. It gives our group Minor and Major Expedition for 8 seconds. Refresh often. Note that this skill also procs both parts of Wretched Vitality in one go. Echoing Vigor is a HoT you should keep up at all times. Absorption Field or Negate is our frontbar ultimate, used to render enemy groups powerless.

Backbar - Bound Aegis is slotted for the passives and not used actively. Healing Springs is a ground heal you can drop under your group when they are static for a moment. Radiating Regeneration is another HoT you should keep up all the time. Blessing of Restoration is our main burst heal that we can also use to provide Minor Resolve. Inner Light is slotted passively to increase our max magicka and provide a more reliable source of Major Prophecy on our main healing bar. It is our flex spot, and you can replace it with something like Hurricane when there is no Warden in your group to provide Major Resolve. Alternatively, you can use a Scribing skill to grant you Major Prophecy/Savagery and some other advantages. Look in the screenshots for an example. Regenerating Barrier is our defensive ultimate, used to buy the group some time when under heavy pressure.

Race:

I use Breton, which is quite comfy because in combination with some of the other sustain options (Wretched Vitality + The Atronach mundus) this allows us to use stamina buff food and maintain both attribute pools with relative ease. If you use another race, I'd strongly suggest using some recovery glyphs.

Mundus:

I use The Atronach for some extra juice in the magicka recovery department. I also played it with The Ritual but it gave me less room for error.

Curse:

No vampirism since it is bad for sustain and not needed in a group anyway.

Attributes:

Everything into Health.

Food:

Artaeum Takeaway Broth for higher stam pool and stam recovery. If you use a race with an in-built boost to max health, max stamina, you could also consider Orzorga's Tripe Trifle Pocket for more stamina recovery and health.

Potions:

Immovability potions with Stamina and Major Savagery to make sure you can be on point during pushes. If you struggle with your magicka sustain, use tri-stat potions.
