My take on the one-bar Arcanist:
- Flail: built-in execute, heal and damage-taken debuff, but with a shorter range than Runeblades + a slight cast time, but if you get used to it that's not an issue
- Pragmatic Fatecarver: your one-button-for-every-situation damage skill
- Fulminating Rune: quite good AoE DoT + explodes after a few seconds for instant damage
- Rune of the Colorless Pool: I always like to buff/debuff, and a single ability that provides both Minor Vulnerability + Minor Brittle is just too good to not use
- Inspired Scholarship: more damage
The rotation is fairly simple:
- Build 3x Crux via Flail + passively from Scholarship
- Consume Crux via Fatecarver
- Keep both Runes active on your target(s)
- Use pot on CD
Side notes:
- Going for double daggers to get even more crit via DW passive is also an option, but those daggers are currently just too bloody expensive
- Instead of Order's Wrath something like Whorl of the Depths or Back-Alley Gourmand might provide even more damage, but I just like Order's Wrath as it provides plenty of crit, spell/weapon power + crit damage
As for the screenshot:
- As it's a new alt I'm still farming Undaunted for the passives, so all my stats will rise a bit once I have them
