Updated Build link for u46! - <https://youtu.be/okqB3Nl53h8?si=uBO06ZEZVsxh3BG7>

I've made a couple StamArc videos to prepare everyone for the upcoming DLC.

They are beginner friendly, only using one skill on the back bar so it's super simple to get good damage for those who don't want a complex rotation. I've also avoided using sets like coral so you can focus purely on trial mechs etc. also have empty slots for a self heal or whatever you need for playing solo.

And this link if for when the new update drops and uses all the same gear and skill sets ups so you won't need to re learn your damage rotations or farm any new gear! Updated Build link for u46! - <https://youtu.be/okqB3Nl53h8?si=uBO06ZEZVsxh3BG7>

I look forward to seeing more of you in trials

*

INTRO A guildie asked me to sort them out with something simple that can still hit good dps numbers so I’ve made this using gear and skills that you would use in a trial situation. You could easily push the trial dummy score up by making a few changes to gear but I’ve decided to use gear and skills that would be used in a trial situation if you are newish to the class, new to vet trials or just wanted a build that could get 100k dps without too much concentration so you can learn trial mechs comfortably without focusing on a rotation. This was done on the u46 week 5 PTS so should be up to date for the seasons of the worm cult DLC coming on June 2nd 2025 for PC and June 18th 2025 for console.

CHANGES FOR HIGHER A TRIAL DUMMY PARSE

If you can keep your stamina down to 30% consistently you can use Coral Riptide in place of deadly strike and replace Ansuul’s for highland sentinel. Coral riptide is great in trials if you can manage it so isn’t exclusively for the dummy but highland sentinel is primarily used only to cheese higher dps scores on a dummy although in the right circumstances and with a player who is experienced can be used in trials but I’d avoid doing that for the most part. Changing the morph or pragmatic fatecarver to exhausting fatecarver will increase dps but remove the damage shield you get.

SKILLS

Barbed trap – Provides minor force, increases spell damage by 3% will slotted (slayer passive from fighter’s guild), is a good source of damage and the haemorrhaging status effect.

Inspired scholarship – Generates crux, provides extra damage to your class abilities and provides major brutality and sorcery.

Pragmatic fatecarver – Your main priority damage skill, always cast when you have three crux (three green triangles) floating around you. Provides a damage shield for more safety in trials.

Cephaliarch’s flail – Creates crux, heals you when you damage an enemy and is a good spammable when you need to keep damage up but can’t use fatecarver.

Magical banner – A scribing skill, creates crux (class mastery), deals damage and provides buffs. You only need to active this once, when you have it activated you don’t need to press it again. Just make sure it is active as it does drop sometimes when you enter a trial or change instances. Just look out for the big flag on your back and massive blue circle around you to make sure it’s on. THIS SKILL MUST BE PLACED ON BOTH BARS OR IT WILL DEACTIVATE WHEN YOU BARSWAP.

Quick cloak – Deals damage, provides major evasion (reducing damage from area attacks by 20%), provides major expedition (increases movement speed by 30%). Because we have paired this skill with the spectral cloak daggers on the back bar we also get extra damage, reduces damage taken by 6% and increases damage done by 6%.

Languid eye – Our ultimate ability, cheap to cast so make sure to cast it often so you don’t waste damage.

Because we have empty skill slots on the back bar you could use them for heals if playing solo or fill them up with skills that provide passive bonuses that you don’t need to press. In Cloudrest you could copy some of the skills from the front bar so you can still do damage during bar swap mechanic for example.

FOOD & POTIONS

Hearty garlic corn chowder – I use this on the trial dummy as its max stamina but no health. Sticky pork and radish noodles, garlic cod with potato crust, braised rabbit with spring vegetables – all of these recipes provide the same thing. Extra health and stamina, perfect for trials.

Essence of health (tri stat) – made with bugloss, columbine and mountain flower. Provides all resources and increases their recovery. You can use crown tri pots if you have any as they do the same thing.

On the dummy you can use heroism pots to boost dps. They generate ultimate so you can cast more of them but are very expensive.

BLUE CHAMPION POINTS

Biting Aura

Wrathful strikes

Master-at-Arms/Thaumaturge*

Exploiter

*At the time of recording Pragmatic fatecarver is considered damage overtime but next patch that is changing and it will be considered direct damage. So… If you are watching this before the seasons of the worm cult DLC coming on June 2nd 2025 for PC and June 18th 2025 for consoles then use Thaumaturge but when the worm cult DLC is released swap thaumaturge out and replace it with Master-at-Arms.

 *

RED CHAMPION POINTS Boundless vitality Fortified Rejuvenation Expert evasion Red champion points can change depending on the situation you might not need to roll dodge a lot so expert evasion would be a waste for example.
