Guide

Explication de la construction
Ce guide est écrit en Anglais.

Welcome to my Magicka Dragonknight PvP build!

This build previously featured the BRP staves and the Oakensoul ring. While that build is still workable, (I have the details below), and it's amazingly fun to be a nuclear firestorm on legs, it has lost a significant amount of punch.

If you like this, feel free to drop a like and check out some of my other PvP and PvE builds.

Incendiary Serpent set up

For this version of the build, we run one damage dealing armor set,  one defensive set, a one piece monster, and a mythic.

Damage: Burning Spellweave. It's hard to beat this on a Dragonknight. It gives your spell damage a nice buff when you do flame damage (basically, whenever you attack). If you don't have the Burning Spellweave inferno staff, run Silks of the Sun instead, it does nearly the same thing.

Defense: We've switched over to Basalt-Blooded Warrior now. This set give us survivability and generates ultimate like crazy. Make sure you cast Obsidian Shard regularly to proc the set. OS also doubles as a pretty good heal.

Monster: Kra'gh or Valkyn Skoria, that penetration stack is important

Mythic: Sea Serpent's Coil: this give you damage reduction, and Major Courage and Major Berserk when you do take damage. It's a big buff, but you do have to put up with the 40% snare. That can be a pain.

Gaze of Doom set up

Same as above, we run one damage dealing armor set,  one defensive set, a one piece monster, and a mythic.

Sets: Burning Spellweave, Daedric Trickery, and one piece Kra'gh or Valkyn Skoria, see above for details.

Daedric Trickery: This set turns us into a tanky DPS. You can count on having multiple buffs up at once, it really gives you the survival edge you need, and it's super user friendly. Just keep on whacking until you need to pop a heal, then go back to whacking!

Mythic: Gaze of Sithis: This gives bonus health, health recovery, and armor, at the cost of block.

In my opinion, Gaze of Doom is the stronger set up. It's the one I run all the time.

Feel free to mix and match with the mythic items!

Damage burst guild:

Buff up with Armor and Combat Prayer, Healing ward too, if needed. This gives you some strong armor and healing, while procing Minor Berserk. It also helps to cast Engulfing Flames once to give you a whip stack, but it's not needed.

Cast Deep Breath, you're going to want to keep this one up as much as you can. It's great at AOE damage and will knock people out of stealth near you as a bonus.

Cast Engulfing Flames, for the whip stack and the bonus damage, then cast Burning Embers and get the DOT started. If you precast Engulfing Flames, you're at three stacks now. If not, just case it one more time.

When you have your ult and your three whip stacks, then we're ready.

Fossilize!       Leap!       Whip!

If your enemy is still on his feet, recast Deep Breath and whip him a few more times. For tankier enemies, you may have to run through this a few times to wear them down.

Oakensoul set up

This build is build around the Oakensoul ring.

A brief run through of the basic rotation (do note that this is basic, you will probably need to adapt this to each fight).

Open with Engulfing Flames, for the buff to flame damage, and follow it up with Burning Embers.

Next, fire off Pulsar, to proc Wild Impulse and minor mangle.

Now, Whip should be at two stacks, recast either Embers or Flames to hit three stacks.

At this point, if your opponent is squishy, you might be able to finish him off with another Pulsar or two, mixed in with Whip. On the other hand, if he's tougher, and you have the ultimate, activate Ferocious Leap. This does a ton of damage, gives you a damage shield, and procs Balorgh.

If they're still up after getting hit by the Dragonknight freight train, hit them with whip, then reactivate Pulsar for the execute bonus.

Since we only have one bar, this is an unapologetic glass cannon build. Burning Embers is our only heal, other than our potions. If you're in trouble, recast it for an instant heal. Also, make sure to keep Volatile Armor up for defense, plus a little bonus damage.

If you prefer to run Fossilize, then replace Engulfing Flames. Flame Lash is an option as well, but the build doesn't give good opportunities to proc it.
