Apocryphal Alchemist - Arcanist Construire PvE - ESO

This Arcanist build is intended as to generate large quantities of Ultimate charge in short periods of time. While there are skills for healing, it is not the primary purpose of the kit.

Guide

Explication de la construction

Summary:

As a disclaimer, this is NOT a Healer build; if it were, this would be marks as such, but no, it's marked as a Support Build. The main function of the Alchemist build is to generate Ultimate charge for your allies. To do this, the kit relies very heavily on Armor Set Bonuses and Potions. I am still leveling up my Arcanist, so everything is purely theoretical and subject to change.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Sets:

  1. Cryptcanon Vestments
    • This Mythic Item will be essential to the kit's general functionality, as it transfers your Ultimate charge to your allies upon cast, at the cost of negating the use of your actual Ultimate. As an added bonus, you get Minor Heroism.
    • The vestments will take up your chest slot as a Light Armor Piece. I recommend a Prismatic Defense Glyph and Infused Trait to boost your resistances.
    • As a Mythic Item, you will need to find five pieces through the Antiquities System before you can unlock it, which will require the Greymoor Expansion to unlock the skill lines. Additionally, you will need the Necrom and Tides of Fate DLCs to unlock the Leads.
  2. Arkasis' Genius
    • This is the main inspiration for the kit, and half of the ‘alchemist’ part of the build. It grants you and three random allies a lump sum of Ultimate Charge when you drink a potion.
    • Arkasis drops as a Heavy Set, meaning most pieces of armor will be better suited for tanking. As such, Arkasis Weapons and Jewelry are best to go after. The Staves use a Prismatic Onslaught Glyph for potential offense, and a Decicive Trait for bonus Ultimate Charge. The Rings both have Potion Speed Glyphs and Infused traits to reduct the cooldowns of your potions. Lastly, the Necklace has a Prismatic Recovery Glyph and Triune trait to boost your attributes and their recovery.
    • The Arkasis Set drops from Stone Garden, a dungeon available in the Stonethorn DLC. Be warned, it is especially difficult on Veteran dificulty, so if you have the mats and Transmute crystals to spare, I'd recommend just collecting the pieces in Normal.
  3. Seeker Synthesis
    • Seeker Synthesis is a new set that reduces Potion cooldown slightly whenever you cast an ability that uses your attributes. Toggle abilities probably only count once if they cost resources, so keep that in mind.
    • This set can be used in any weight, so it should be used for any armor you don't have a weight restriction for. The weights I selected are mixed from each but are balanced out, and have specific Glyphs to increase attributes based on such. All of these pieces use the Invigorating Trait for increased recovery.
    • The set is crafted somewhere in the Telvanni Peninsula, so you'll need Necrom to craft this.
  4. Whatever you want
    • One piece of equipment remains, and you can only have one Mythic at a time, so just put whatever you want here.

Skills:

Upon first glance, you will notice that there are not a lot of unique skills. This is because instead of being designed around having multiple abilities to cycle through, this build primarily has them as “cheap” spammables to trigger the Seeker Synthesis bonus. However, I also saw an opportunity to capitalize on certain Arcanist skills basing their cost off your highest attribute; as such, each bar is tailored to share the same three target ablilites but be assigned to either Stamina or Magicka, but it still has some buff-only abilities that do have a set attribute to use. I will denote what each ability consumes with (S), (M), or (S/M).

  1. Runeblades
  • Runemend will be your main source of Crux and provide some extra Ult to your low health allies via Minor Heroism.
  1. Audacious Runemend
    • Runemend will be your main source of Crux and provide some extra Ult to your low health allies via Minor Heroism.
    • Many Arcanist skills are unique in that their cost is based off the higher of you Magicka or Stamina, such as this one. This means you do not need to worry about what armor weight you wear.
  2. Tidal Chakram
    • This skill primarily provides a damage shield for your allies, but this morph also allows you to consume Crux to heal them as well.
    • Like Runemend, Tidal Chakram scales off of the higher of your Magicka or Stamina.
  3. Mend Spirit
    • Mend Spirit is sort of your main healing and Magicka Recovery ability. Activating it changes your basic attacks to target and heal allies.
  4. Passage Between Worlds
    • The funny portal ability will help team mobility. Anyone with a set that rewards synergies might benefit off it more.
  5. Cruxweaver Armor
    • It's granting protection and potential Crux while active. Certainly a welcome bonus.
  6. Recuperative Treatise
    • Adds Magicka and Stamina recovery, but only when you deal damage. Its passive apparently is supposed to stay on even if you swap bars, and the attack passives should(?) carry over to the Mending ability.
  7. Temporal Guard [ULT]
    • No one actually uses Undo unless they're pretending to be Tracer. That being said, if you're actually using this build, you're not using an actual Ultimate ability, so you might as well just equip it for the passive protection.
