Is This New ESO Monster Set the Perfect Fit for Gankers?

The upcoming Lost Depths DLC for the Elder Scrolls Online adds several new sets to the game, which can be obtained in the two new dungeons, Earthen Root Enclave and Graven Deep.
Today we'll be having a quick look at one of these sets, namely the Euphotic Gatekeeper monster set. We already wrote about the Archdruid Devyric set here. 
Euphotic Gatekeeper Set Overview
Like all monster sets, Euphotic Gatekeeper has two set bonuses. For just wearing one item, you just get some extra stamina recovery. When wearing both items though you will get a more interesting effect.The set augments your dodge rolls with a couple of additional effects. When you dodge. a Hadolid Husk will appear, when you are close to the husk you will be immune to all direct damage for one second after your dodge roll, and the husk will then explode, dealing poison damage to nearby enemies. I was getting around 6K tooltip damage on this effect, but you could definitely push this higher if you are running a build focused on high weapon damage (mine was a PvE build focused primarily on crit).
Euphotic Gatekeeper seems like it is geared towards stamina Nightblades in PvP. If they are unable to simply cloak out of a bad situation, then dodge rolling into a better position tends to be their backup option, so augmenting your dodge rolls in this way is a nice option that you will have for your build. You could also combo it with the Eternal Hunt set if you just want to make your dodge rolls as annoying as possible.
You could also try using this on a bomber build to get a bit of extra AOE damage in the mix, but I'm not sure how well that world work out, you might be better off using something else in that case.
This doesn't look like a "meta" item, but it's something thematic that some players could definitely enjoy using.
