Sorcerer + Nightblade Classes
For this build, we’re focusing on the Daedric Summoning, Storm Calling, and Assassination skill lines.
- Daedric Summoning – Offers powerful pets and pet-oriented abilities that form the core of our combat approach.
- Storm Calling – Grants potent passive effects that significantly enhance our overall damage output.
- Assassination – Provides impactful passives that further boost our damage potential.
Nightblade is the best Subclassing Choice for Sorcerer DPS in ESO
Nightblades bring exceptionally strong passive abilities that significantly enhance your damage output:
- Hemorrhage – Increases your Critical Damage and grants Minor Savagery for a passive crit boost.
- Pressure Points – Boosts your Spell Critical chance for each Assassination skill you have slotted.
- Master Assassin – Increases Penetration against flanked enemies, helping you deal more effective damage.
On top of that, we can take advantage of several backbar skills to gain passive benefits—no need to actively use them:
- Relentless Focus – Slotting this grants a large Spell Damage boost without needing to cast it.
- Concealed Weapon – Enhances movement speed and damage when combined with Scribing skills.
- Killer’s Blade – Included solely for its passive benefits from the Assassination skill line.
Oakensoul Ring vs Ring of the Pale Order Mythic
Generally, if you are a newcomer, I recommend Oakensoul. If you can already micromanage buffs, then Pale Order is the much better choice!
Oakensoul Ring
Pros
- Simple and beginner-friendly
- Grants Major/Minor buffs automatically
- No micromanaging buffs
Cons
- Most buffs can be easily obtained from other sources
- No auto-healing effect
Ring of the Pale Order
Pros
- Powerful auto self-healing
- Great for solo survival in difficult content
Cons
- Healing effect reduced in group content
- Only useful for solo gameplay
