ESO Tales of Tribute Card Symbols Guide

The cards in the Tales of Tribute card game in ESO often feature various symbols on the cards. These are not explained too well by the game's tutorial, so this guide will serve as a short and simple summary for what these symbols actually mean. Learning them makes it easier to read what a card does at a glance, without needing to mouse over it and look at the tooltip.

1. Card activation effect - This is always shown on the top left of the card, and a different icon is shown inside the circle depending on what the activation effect is. The activation effect will occur unconditionally whenever you play the card from your hand, or if it is an Agent, it may also occur when you click the card on subsequent turns. In this case, the card activation effect is to grant us one extra coin.
2. Coin Cost - The number in the large coin at the very top of the card indicates its cost. You will need this many coins to purchase the card from the Tavern.
3. 2 Card Combo effect - Effects displayed on the right side of the card in a hexagon always indicates a combo effect. We know that this is a 2 card combo because there are no additional pips on the bottom of the hexagon. This particular combo will give 2 power if you also activate a different Duke of Crows card during this turn. 
4. 2 Card Combo effect - This is basically the same as number 3, except it gives 2 coin instead of 2 power. Since this card features both of these, it means that if another Duke of Crows card was played on the same turn, we will gain 2 coins and 2 power in addition to the card activation effect of 1 coin. 
5. 3 Card Combo effect - We can tell that this is a 3 card combo because it has one pip on the bottom of the hexagon. Each additional pip indicates one extra card that is required for the combo effect, so if there were two pips then it would be a four card combo effect, and so on. In this case, this means that if two other Duke of Crows cards are also activated in the same turn, we will get an extra 2 power in addition to the earlier combo effects and the card activation effect.
