In order to enter a Battleground you have to open your Group interface, and choose Battlegrounds from there.

What are ESO battlegrounds?

ESO Battlegrounds are a 4vs4vs4 PvP group experience where you and your group fight against other players to fulfill specific objectives or to gain the most Alliance Points (AP).
